Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado has earned the recognition as one of the top rehabilitation centers in the world because of the successes of our “graduates”. Craig is exclusively dedicated to the specialty rehabilitation and research for patients with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. We have treated more than 26,500 patients since 1956 - more spinal cord injury patients than any other single facility in the world. Our spinal cord injury rehabilitation and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation programs are designated by the U.S. National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) as Model Systems Centers. Craig is the NIDRR National Data and Statistical Center (NDSC) for the Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems 2006-2011.

Craig is a non-profit freestanding hospital that has been rated every year in the Top Ten Rehabilitation Hospitals by US News and World Report since the ratings began eighteen years ago. In 2005 we were awarded Magnet recognition status by the Magnet Recognition Program® of the American Nurses Credentialing Center- the 2nd rehabilitation hospital in the U.S. to achieve Magnet recognition. In 2007, patients came to Craig from 48 states and several foreign countries to take advantage of our expertise, experience, depth of resources, and caring environment.
